In 1969 Ed Morrow founded Financial Planning Consultants, specializing in training, consulting and software development for the financial services profession. In 1975, he headed the Ohio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He served as a director of the Institute of CFP, as Mentor at the first ICFP Residency, and established the Financial Advisors Section of NAIFA. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, which under his leadership has grown from 648 members to over 8000. He has appeared regularly on the national programs of broker dealers and professional associations such as FPA, NAIFA, IARFC, SFSP, AICPA, CLU Institutes and seven times at the MDRT. Ed’s presentation topics include: “Strategic Marketing Solutions,” “Web-Based Marketing”, “Adding Fee-Based Income”, “Client Relationship Management”, “Client Acquisition”, “Branding and Image Building”, the “Business Owner Consulting Workshop” and “Loan Cancellation Plan.” He has published over 1000 articles, 27 practice management manuals, 7 financial planning texts and three books. Ed continues to deliver cutting-edge financial marketing and planning courses, worldwide.
